Track 3. Yeshu Bhajan.

19. January 2011

We originally arranged the song “Yeshu Bhajan” back in early 2007 for the album “Amrit Vani”. After taking it to the studio with a four piece string quartet, we decided that the recording did not capture the essence of what we loved in the song, so we kept it off the album.

When we sat down to chart the course for “Namaste Sate”, we reworked some of the parts and simplified the instrumentation to let the song breathe more. This version flows much more freely with subtle violin, cello, atmospheric tremolo guitar and foot pedal organ bass keeping the focus on the beautiful melody of “Sing, sing the song of Yeshu”.
